Where to put different types of Content

Once you start creating all your great marketing Content you need to know where to promote it / and put it. Here’s my guide to what to put where:

Videos

• YouTube – free hosting, lots of visibility, and you can embed them onto you website from here too
• Vimeo – a subscription account, great for hosting videos you don’t want on YouTube, or that you don’t want other people’s adverts on
• Social Media – promote them on your Facebook Page, and Google+, and don’t forget to Pin them to Pinterest

Images

• Pinterest – pin your great images here
• Flickr – great place to host your images
• In your own blog / on your website

Documents (PDFs and Slideshows)

• Scribd – for sharing documents
• Slideshare – for sharing presentations – don’t assume they have to be dull! With the paid account you can also share videos
