After winning the ears of the music industry they used a kickstarter campaign to launch their range of in-ear headphones and ear plugs! In 2017 they reached a turnover of £5.9 million having grown 250% in the last 12 months.
Pierre Larose is the founder of Calcathai who sell Thai pants in Brazil and beyond. He launched the business 3 years ago, with zero experience of fashion or retail, and has already built it to over £250k annual turnover.
Jane Mason is the Managing Director at Natural Birthing Company. An award winning range of natural products designed by midwives to soothe the journey from bump to baby. Selling both direct to customers via their website, and to many retailers including UK high street giants Holland & Barrett and Boots. They launched in 2014 and grew 60% in the last year, and are aiming for a £500k turnover in the coming year.
Adam Watson has been in eCommerce for 16 years, after starting selling on eBay when he was 18, and in his own words has “made just about every mistake going along the way, and had some great success”. Right now he has 3 sites Hollywoodmirrors.co.uk, Decorelo.co.uk and AmbientMirrors.com they’ve launched since August 2016, and have a combined turnover of £450,000 per year. That’s an impressive start, especially when you consider that last year, due to an accounting error Adam lost everything.
Geoff Hunt and Henry Waddilove are the co-founders behind Burlingham London Watches, a British watch company selling both men’s and ladies watches inspired by British heritage. They launched in August 2016 and have sold 100s of units in their first year.
Jane Fisher is a co-founder at Harper Wilde, an online retailer looking to change the way we buy bras. After 18 months of planning, they launched just one month ago and are already seeing repeat customers!
