These are a few eCommerce related books that I have found both enlightening, and enjoyable – these are the ones I don’t lend to anyone!
|Boo Hoo: A Dot.com Story from Concept to Catastrophe by Ernst Malmsten
The ultimate tale of eCommerce woe – this might have all happened over 10 years ago – but many are still making the same mistakes today.
|Upside Down Management by John Timpson
A very god guide to retailing, and a pragmatic, sensible approach.
|Accounting for Managers: Interpreting Accounting Information for Decision-Making by Paul M. Collier
If you struggle with the numbers, this is the book for you.
|The Long Tail by Chris Anderson
A concept that you need to understand if you’re going to succeed online. And so well explained – read this and you’ll see the long tail everywhere.
|Poke the Box by Seth Godin
This takes only about 2 hours to read cover to cover, and it’s Seth’s manifesto for getting on with it – for initiating. If you ever need a rocket up your arse – this is the book to do it. It will be on my Kindle forever.
